  • NCCS Training

    NCCS training ensures that you get the most out of your software investment. Classes are designed to instruct students in the most important aspects of the software so that they can achieve maximum proficiency and productivity. Training courses are offered for all levels of users.

  • NCL General Class

    Recommended for all new users and users who's experience is limited to older versions of the software. This class covers the user interface, geometry construction, and tool path generation.

    The NCL General Class is designed for students who have been CNC operators or have had experience with other CAD or CAM products, who wish to become multi-axis programmers.

    The course begins by introducing the NCL interface and simple geometric modeling commands and goes on to cover pocketing, profiling, drilling and four- & five-axis milling operations.

  • NCL/IPV Class

    Recommended for all new users and users who's experience is limited to older versions of the software. This class covers tool path verification and machine simulation. Also covered is creation of stock models, verifying multiple setups, analyzing and measuring the cut part, performance issues, and machine modeling.

    The class will provide students with the necessary skills to take full advantage of NCL/IPV for tool path verification and machine simulation.
    Topics covered include: creation of stock models, verifying multiple setups, analyzing and measuring the cut part, performance issues, and machine modeling.

    Students can attend the entire class or choose to attend either Day 1 for NC verification training only, or Day 2 for machine simulation training only.

  • Application
    Specific Class

    Recommended for users who need to learn how to use NCL for one of the following applications:

    • Turbo-machinery (impellers, blisks, airfoils)
    • Tire molds (pattern and engraved)
    • Ultra-sonic cutting machines
    • Version update (designed for customers who have been using older versions of NCL and want to be instructed in the latest features and programming techniques)

    The NCL Application Specific Class is offered to address specific applications for the use of NCL.
    While the NCL General and Advanced classes will teach students how to use NCL for general machining applications,
    especially structural aircraft components, it does not address the unique requirements of the applications listed below.

    Attendance to an NCCS Application Specific Class must be pre-approved by NCCS at least 3 weeks in advance and can be reserved for a particular company.

  • PostWorks Class

    Recommended for users who need to create and maintain postprocessors using PostWorks. This class covers all aspects of postprocessor development.

    In this class, students will learn how to create and maintain postprocessors using PostWorks.
    The class will guide students through the process of creating a multi-axis postprocessor.

    Students will learn how to configure machines with rotary tables and heads, customize output files, and create postprocessor macros.
    This class is a must for any company using PostWorks.

    Class registration is limited and will be accepted in the order received.
    We must have at least 2 people enrolled unless otherwise approved.

    If you are not attending on a class credit, a purchase order and/or payment must be issued by your company prior to the training.
    You may also pay in person on the first day of class.
  • What you need to know
    Class Hours
    Class hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM, breaking for a one-hour lunch.

    What to bring
    Students may bring blank media (floppy disk, CD, etc.) on which to copy their completed class files. Or, if you have access to E-mail, class files can be sent to your E-mail address.

    Parking
    Upon arrival, take a ticket for parking and proceed to the parking structure. NCCS is located on the 17th floor. When you arrive, please give your ticket to the class instructor. You will then be given a parking key that will provide you access to the parking structure throughout your stay with NCCS. Please be sure to return this parking key on your last afternoon of class prior to your departure.

    Cancellations
    Cancellations need to be made two weeks prior to the training date in order to obtain a full refund. Registrations are transferable if made two weeks in advance. If you need to cancel, please inform us immediately.

    Accommodations
    The class fee does not cover hotel and living expenses. The customer is responsible for their own accommodations. For a list of the local hotels, please contact Becky Robinson.

    On-site training
    All classes are available on-site at your location. The cost for on-site training is $1,000.00 per day plus trainer travel and subsistence expenses.
